Can a democracy last longer than 200 years?

Alexander Fraser Tyler, Cycle Of Democracy (1770)

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over lousy fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.

The average of the world’s great civilizations before they decline has been 200 years. These nations have progressed in this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; from faith to great courage; from courage to liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to complacency; from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependency; from dependency back again to bondage."

Tea Party Coverage

For an article by FOX news click here.

Comments from this article:
"The president has warned us if we disagree with him he's going to call us out," DeMint said. "Well, Mr. President, we are out."

"The White House on Friday claimed it was unaware of the planned rally.
"I don't know who the group is," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters with a shrug."
(So much for secret service. Do they gather any intel at all?)

"Our government has lost sight of the powers they were granted," she said. She added that the deficit spending was out of control, and said she thought it was putting the country at risk."

"Richard Brigle, 57, a Vietnam War veteran and former Teamster, came from Paw Paw, Mich. He said health care needs to be reformed -- but not according to President Barack Obama's plan."
"My grandkids are going to be paying for this. It's going to cost too much money that we don't have," he said while marching, bracing himself with a wooden cane as he walked.

What do you think?

Vladimir Lenin says "Medicine is the keystone to socialism."

We would love free health care for everyone, do you think that 900 Billion over ten (as proposed in President Obama's plan) years is too much to spend on free health care?

The John Adams Project

The John Adams Project is currently showing pictures of CIA agents to members of the Al Qaeda so that the terrorist group can have retribution for rendition (torturing). What do you think about that?

ACORN- A community organization

This organization was designed to help poor people which is good right? These are some other things about them.

ACORN- A community Organization By Wade and Dale Rathke

Beware Of the Czars

President Obama has elected 37 Czars that report directly to him. They were not elected by the people to the position, which they hold; the President placed them in it. The system of checks and balances does not exist in this union because the czars report only to Obama and Obama reports only to the czars. This means that policy can be made without anyone else approving or opposing. President Obama told Senator McCain in a debate "judge me by the people that I associate with." It is time for you to get to know your czars because they tell you what Obama can be judged by. We have never had czars in America before.

Meet Your Czars
Green Czar: Van Jones: He did resign but not much was really mentioned as to why except that he caught fire for calling republicans A-holes.These are jus a few other things laid against him.
1. He wants redistribution of all wealth.
2. He is a self-avowed communist.
3. He supports a prisoner Mumia Abu- Jamal who is in jail because he shot a police officer execution style.
4. He wants America to give all the wealth back to the Native Americans. He says "No more broken Treaties."
5. He does not respect Police authority and encourages others not to respect it.

Cass Sunstein: Regulatory Czar
-Thinks “second amendment is the biggest lie in American history”
-Thinks the right to bear arms is a federal right, not an individual right
-Wants to ban hunting
-Thinks animals have a right to sue humans
-Thinks animals have the right to own property
-Would like to control what kinds of things can be on the Internet
-Would like to regulate broadcasting
-Believes in “presumed consent” – basically your organs belong to the government. If you are not an organ donor they can take your organs anyway under the notion that you would give your consent to do so if you were alive to be asked.
-Author of a book called “Nudge”

John Holdron-Science Czar
In favor of forced abortions for population control
In favor of spiking drinking water with strerilents for population control
Thinks people are not secondary to earth or animals

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel- Bioethics Czar
"Services to be provided to an individual who may not become an active member of society is a waste of money"
Can anyone explain that to me?

According to the Wall Street Journal:
The Wall Street Journal
By BETSY MCCAUGHEY
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, health adviser to President Barack Obama, is under scrutiny. As a bioethicist, he has written extensively about who should get medical care, who should decide, and whose life is worth saving. Dr. Emanuel is part of a school of thought that redefines a physician’s duty, insisting that it includes working for the greater good of society instead of focusing only on a patient’s needs. Many physicians find that view dangerous, and most Americans are likely to agree.

Is this the America you want to live in? These guys advise the president.

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

12 Values
Honesty
Reverence
Hope
Thrift
Humility
Charity
Sincerity
Moderation
Hard Work
Courage
Personal Responsibility Gratitude

Is This Reasonable To Request?

To Congress, The 5 Pledges

1. I believe in a balanced budget and therefore will vote for a freeze in government spending until that goal is realized.

2. I believe government should not increase the financial burden on its citizenry during a difficult economic times, therefore I will oppose all tax increases until our economy has rebounded.

3. I believe more than four decades of US dependence on foreign oil is a travesty, therefore I will support an energy plan that calls for immediately increasing usage of all domestic resources including nuclear energy, natural gas and coal as necessary.

4. I believe in the sovereignty and security of our country and therefore will support measures to close our borders except for designated immigration points so we will know who is entering and why. I will vehemently oppose any measure giving another country, the United Nations, or any other entity power over US citizens.

5. I believe the United States of America is the greatest country on earth and therefore will not apologize for policies or actions which have served to free more and feed more people around the world than any other nation on the planet.
